The Maltese Falcon (1941) | Hollywood Summer Nights Series

Hollywood Summer Nights are back! We are showcasing TWO excellent classic movies a week on our big screen from May- September. The series kicks off in May with one of the most iconic Bogart noirs ever made-THE MALTESE FALCON! See the matinee at 4pm or the prime at 7pm. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 at amblertheater.org/specials

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: In this classic film based on the detective novel from Dashiell Hammett, Humphrey Bogart plays the hard-boiled Sam Spade who is investigating a missing jewel-encrusted falcon statuette. Some consider this John Huston masterpiece to be the movie that started the film noir genre, and everyone knows that the MALTESE FALCON is "the stuff that dreams are made of." Presented in a brand new restoration.
